The Book of Romans in the New Testament is a great place to begin reading about Gods plan to bring you close to Him again. The following verses, "Roman's Road", outline the Good News of Jesus Christ. So you've got it in plain English, these verses are lifted from the New Century Version (NCV) of the Holy Bible. As the Scriptures say, "There is no
one who always does what is right, not even one" All have sinned and are not good enough
for God's Glory. When people sin, they earn what sin pays
- death. But God gives us a free gift - life forever in
Christ Jesus, our Lord. But God shows his great love for us in
this way: Christ died for us while we were still sinners. If you use your mouth to say, "Jesus
is Lord," and if you believe in your heart that God
raised Jesus from the dead, you will be saved. We believe
with our hearts, and so we are made right with God. And
we use our mouth to say that we believe, and so we are
saved. As the Scripture says, "Anyone who
call on the Lord will be saved" Since we have been made right with God by
our faith, we have peace with God. This happened through
our Lord Jesus Christ, who has brought us into that
blessing of God's grace that we now enjoy. And we are
happy because of the hope we have of sharing God's glory. | Home
