Does this seem like a bit of a strange Position Vacant announcement to you?  

Well, if it does, you are probably not alone!  It does, however, reflect some important things about our church community.

• We have a sense that this is something God would have us pray about and act on.
• 'Position vacant' - does this mean I might have to come and  work? Well, not immediately, that's for sure!  We do however have a church community where people generally chip in to help each other and those in the wider community.  There is great fellowship and sense of achievement when working together for the "King of Kings, and Lord of Lords".

And by the way, all people are welcome, whether in a family or not!
