ACTIVITIES

We believe that it is very important for members of our church to be connecting with the community. We especially value finding ways that we can serve in our community. Some of our activities include:
- Running a stall at the monthly Armidale markets (last Sunday in the month). At the
stall we provide free hot drinks to other stall holders and passers-
by, we have a bookstall of new books for sale (thanks to Koorong) and used books to give away (thanks to all those who donate them). - We have a pastoral care ministry to provide meals and practical help as best we can to those who ask.
- We participate in events like Relay for Life to help raise funds for cancer research.
- We pray for people's needs. The Bible promises that God will hear our prayers and answer them:
I John 5:11-
And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God's Son does not have life. I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life. And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. (This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.) And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.
